The ending hit me very hard. Rabbi Spitzer is truly a sadistic monster, and it really shows how much religion can become just an excuse to hurt others.
I was hoping Ruth Gottlieb would hook up with Meir, and I'm so hoping he marries her, and then becomes the wealthy guy that pathetic little troll of a rabbi has to kiss up to.

I love this show- it is wonderful-I wish there were more current choices . Many films are available elsewhere - amazon and netflix. I am hoping for unique material!

My family is secular but my grandmother lived in Boro Park so I have been around religious Jews. Although I love the show it seems so unrealistic to how Frum Jews are. I am mostly talking about how men and women interact on the show. Any religious Jews care to comment on the authenticity of the show
