Mekimi -- A combination of what seemed, to me, to be strange casting (a mismatched pair) and a climax-less plot left me disappointed. Add to this that it did not seem credible to me that the female lead, in light of her ambivalent character and personal history, would have been inclined in any way, shape, or form to move her life to B'nei Barak, notwithstanding her sincere love for her pious partner. . .This series is, admittedly, based on true events, but that only increases my sense that something important in either character development or plot line has been left out of this series' scripts.
