I returned to Chai Flicks and renewed my subscription in order to watch "The Lesson."
As a former high school teacher and presently a university educator I immediately tuned in to the semantics between the two man characters. I was intrigued with the dynamics among the characters up until the end of episode 4. I shall skip my mixed thoughts on episode 5 and get to the nitty gritty of the final episode 6. I am confounded as to who decided the writer, the director or both that the audience at the end of the episode would be staring at the character "Amir" staring afield --to what? Death for certain or maybe not. Is there not to be clarification.? Even if the audience taps into their imagination and I dare to surmise there are collections of outcomes just as this viewer did.
