Has anyone found shows in Hebrew with Hebrew subtitles? I'm still learning but at an advanced level and it's unhelpful when the subtitles are in English, but it seems most of the shows (preferred to movies) have English embedded and Hebrew unavailable...

+1 for this request. I'd very much like to be able to watch Hebrew shows/movies with Hebrew subtitles to assist in my language learning.

At the very least let me turn off the English subtitles

Agreed. I would really, really like Hebrew subtitles. And an option for English, Hebrew, or no subtitles.

It's ridiculous that users can't opt for Hebrew subtitles on Chaiflicks.

Same here. I'm a native English speaker and find my brain translating and reading at the same time, which is not a pleasant experience. Hebrew without subtitles is too quick for me. Hebrew with Hebrew subtitles is what I'm looking for and helps me learn new vocabulary .

Please add Hebrew subtitles !!!

On Netflix, many shows have a wide selection of subtitles. Examples:
Hashoter Hatov. (Very amusing series)
Making UnOrthodox
Fauda
Shtisel
The Waking of Motti Whatshisname.

It looks like all the Jewish / Israeli programming has Hebrew among its multitude of available languages.

I haven’t tried it, but it seems you can also have your program’s dialogue dubbed in the language of your choice.

Srugim. (I don’t know what channel/ streaming service it’s on now - if at all)

Anyway, any 30 minute episode could keep me playing/pausing/checking dictionary to research root words and alternative uses and playing a phrase over and over and over to catch the pronunciation of completely strange words. They talk so fast and it takes repetition to acclimate to the individual speaker’s enunciation.

Also. My Hebrew is pretty good, but rapid fire speech and slurred words make it difficult to understand the actors’ words. I find that slowing the playback speed helps a lot.

Please add Hebrew subtitles! I'm trying to learn Hebrew and the English subtitles are not helpful.
