It certainly is timely. I left this comment under that film but wanted to share with others. I also watched "La Petite Jerusalem" and glad I saw though I can't say I loved the plot. The lead actress was great. Viewers should know that there is full nudity (male and female) as part of the film.
Re: Diplomacy"
After seeing the trailer for this 2014 film, and knowing it was from the director of the Oscar-winning film “The Tin Drum”, I couldn’t wait to watch it. It’s a piece of history that I was not aware of and the two lead actors – who have nearly all the dialog – are brilliant. The film was based on a stage play – and you can sense that since it takes place in – basically – one room. It is not long (just 88 minutes) and you will not leave the room , wanting to learn – unless you are a historian – less what the result will be, than how it got there. Thank you Chai Flicks for making this available.
