We have an Amazon Fire Stick and Amazon Prime, Netflix, Roku (free), etc. We cannot find the Chai Flicks channel/logo to connect to your streaming service. We have followed the various instructions on your website with no success so far. Would you be willing to set up a telephone call to "walk" us through setting up your service. We have to do something. Our trial period is over. We have not been able to view anything on Chai Flicks. Now, we will be charged for a year and still not see any programs. Please advise. Thank you. Hi Rubins: I'm jjust a subscriber but this may help: Do you say you have a Roku unit. If so go to the channel store and seach Chaiflicks and add it. that's what I do. If you have only an Amazon fire stick you will need to do something different. The Firestick has "apps", not channels. So you need to use the Silk Browser and open it then enter www.chaiflicks.com and the sign in screen shows up. Enter your password and you are in. I don't think it saves your password like a Roku unit does. Honestly I have both a firestick and a basic roku and I use the Roku unit the most for channels like PBS passport,, Brit box and Netflix. I signed up for the free trial. I have a Firestick (not a Fire TV nor a smart TV) and cannot find the ChaiFlicks app. I contacted customer support and received conflicting information from each agent who emailed me. One agent indicated that I would not be able to access ChaiFlicks on my TV using the FIrestick, whereas another agent suggested a few steps which still did not yield success. Then another agent told me I was given wrong information and that I should be able to access ChaiFlicks using my Firestick and was provided instructions and STILL, I cannot find the app. So it has taken 4 days of back and forth emails, and rather than offering a phone call to walk me through it, I was asked to try a few more steps and email back yet again. The amount of time I have spent (wasted) has completely turned me off and I will not be subscribing. This should not be so challenging considering the ease in accessing so many other apps. I imagine other will be similarly frustrated.
I, too, have continuing issues with Firestik and CF app. We love Chai Flix offerings, and so... We have developed a workaround. We have a laptop and a tower computer with 21" and 26" screens respectively. In addition, the laptop has a pair of Audio Engine powered speakers. We are watching all the Chai Flix we want on the laptop with its outboard speakers. We think that no matter what Chai Flix can or will do to remedy the Firestik issue, we can still enjoy their offerings. If complaining won't solve the problem, I am not going to complain. Remember that doing the same thing over and over again while receiving no fruitful assistance ever is the first sign of insanity. If complaining does not help, quit complaining.
For $25 you can get a Roku and watch all you want plus lots of other channels like All Arts which is free. and PBS. Chaiflicks has a Roku Channel and that serves me just fine. ;-)
