On October 4th, 2001, a plane departed from Israel towards Siberia and exploded over the Black Sea. 51 Israeli citizens were on board, instantly making the disaster the country's biggest aerial disaster. One of them was 38-year-old Oksana Seltzer — a recent immigrant to Israel and mother of 13-year-old Ilya.

20 years removed from this incident, Ilya — now a documentary filmmaker — dives into the strange incident with a host of still-unanswered questions: Who is responsible for what happened to Flight 1812? And why has this event been largely missing from Israeli media and history?
