Moshe survived WWII and was 13 years old when his family was murdered. Following the Holocaust, Moshe did what many only dared to dream of — he got revenge. After surviving as a partisan in the woods of Poland, he joined the UB, the Polish secret police. Officially, the group was tasked with fighting those who opposed the new Communist regime. But in secret, Moshe and his compatriots avenged victims of the Holocaust, hunting down the Nazis and their collaborators.

This groundbreaking film takes Moshe and his family back to his native village, and together with animation from animator Yoni Goodman (Waltz With Bashir, The Congress), Dark Side unfurls an untold story of survival, persistence, and revenge.
