Juliano Mer Khamis, a renowned actor in both Israel and Palestine, returns to his childhood roots in the Jenin refugee camp to film what has happened to a group of kids he directed in the Freedom Theater — an alternative education platform founded by his mother, Arna. The results provide a ground-level look at the impact of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict on the children who have no choice but to live through it.
